Throughout the series, Futaba and Kou navigate the challenges of their rekindled relationship, including misunderstandings, jealousy, and their own personal insecurities. Futaba struggles with her fear of losing Kou again and worries that he will leave her once more. Kou, on the other hand, has been carrying emotional baggage from his past that affects his ability to fully open up to Futaba.
