As the girl, named Emily, runs through the woods, she is constantly on edge and haunted by flashbacks of the tragic event that scarred her. She is also grappling with feelings of guilt and fear, as she believes the sociopath is specifically targeting her due to her involvement in the event.
The sociopath, who is named Mark, is a cold and calculating killer who relishes in the hunt. He is determined to eliminate anyone who stands in his way, and he sees Emily as the perfect challenge to test his skills.
