The movie follows a group of college students who go on a Spring Break trip to Mexico. While there, they play a game of Truth or Dare in an abandoned church. However, they soon realize that the game has deadly consequences, as a supernatural entity begins to manipulate the game and punish those who don't tell the truth or complete their dare.
The protagonist, Olivia, discovers that the game was created by a cult that worshipped the entity, and the only way to end the curse is to pass the game onto someone else. Along with her friends, including her crush Markie and her best friend Lucas, Olivia tries to outsmart the entity and survive the cursed game.
As the game progresses, the dares become more dangerous and the truths become more personal. The entity's punishments escalate from minor injuries to brutal deaths, leaving the group of friends struggling to stay alive. Olivia and her friends soon realize that they cannot trust anyone, and that their only hope for survival is to find a way to break the curse before it's too late.
The movie is a suspenseful and thrilling horror flick that explores the consequences of lying and the dangers of playing with the supernatural.
