As Jimmy Grimble continues to face challenges both on and off the field, he discovers a pair of magical old boots in a sports shop that once belonged to his idol, Manchester City legend Georgie Best. With these boots, Jimmy begins to transform his game and gain confidence both on and off the pitch.
As the school football team makes their way to the final of the local schools cup, Jimmy must confront his fears and stand up to the bullies who have tormented him. Along the way, he forms friendships with his teammates and gains the support of his coach, Mr. Farthing, who sees potential in Jimmy's talent.
