In the film Miami Vice, detectives James "Sonny" Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs are tasked with going undercover to infiltrate a drug trafficking ring operating out of Miami. As they navigate the dangerous world of drug trafficking, they find themselves entangled in a complex web of lies, betrayal, and violence.
Crockett becomes romantically involved with Isabella, the girlfriend of drug lord Arcangel de Jesus Montoya, while Tubbs develops a romantic relationship with a fellow undercover agent. As their personal lives become increasingly intertwined with their work, both Crockett and Tubbs must make difficult decisions that could have deadly consequences.
As they get closer to bringing down the drug ring, Crockett and Tubbs find themselves in a tense showdown with Montoya and his associates.
