In the movie Maari, the local don Maari, played by Dhanush, is a powerful and feared figure in the neighborhood. He is known for his flashy demeanor, his love for pigeon racing, and his habit of constantly getting into fights with the police.
When a new cop named Arjun, played by Vijay Yesudas, arrives in town with the intention of bringing Maari down, the two immediately clash. However, as the story unfolds, it is revealed that Arjun has his own hidden agenda and is not as clean-cut as he initially appears.
As Maari and Arjun continue to butt heads, a complex web of deception is unraveled, revealing secrets, betrayals, and unexpected alliances. Maari also finds himself caught in a love triangle with a local beauty named Sridevi, played by Kajal Aggarwal.
As the tension between Maari and Arjun escalates, the two must confront their own demons and decide where their loyalties truly lie. In the end, they both realize that they have more in common than they thought and must work together to take down a common enemy.
