In Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry, Natsu Dragneel and his friends from the Fairy Tail guild are given a mission to retrieve the powerful Dragon Cry, a magical artifact that has the potential to bring destruction to the world if it falls into the wrong hands. The artifact has been stolen by the Kingdom of Stella, ruled by the mysterious ruler, King Animus.
As they travel to the island Kingdom of Stella, Natsu and his friends uncover dark secrets about the kingdom and its ruler. They also encounter new enemies, including the powerful mage Zash Caine, who seeks to use the Dragon Cry for his own dark purposes.
Natsu and his friends must battle against Zash and his minions, as well as the forces of the Kingdom of Stella, in order to retrieve the Dragon Cry and prevent its destructive power from being unleashed. Along the way, they also discover the true intentions behind King Animus's actions and the hidden connection between him and one of their own.
Through epic battles, heartbreaking sacrifices, and moments of friendship and camaraderie, Natsu and the Fairy Tail guild once again prove their strength and resolve as they work together to save the world from total destruction. Ultimately, they must make a difficult decision that will not only determine the fate of the Dragon Cry, but also the future of the Kingdom of Stella and their own guild as well.
