While on her Caribbean vacation, Jade arrives at the rental property she booked online only to find out that it doesn't exist and she has been scammed. Frustrated and disappointed, she wanders around the island and comes across Ford, the real owner of the property she thought she had rented.
Feeling bad for Jade, Ford offers her a place to stay at his beachfront villa. Grateful for his kindness, Jade accepts and the two quickly become friends. Ford, a laid-back and carefree surfer, introduces Jade to the beauty and charm of the island, taking her on adventures such as snorkeling, sailing, and exploring hidden beaches.
As they spend more time together, Jade and Ford begin to develop feelings for each other. However, both of them have their own insecurities and fears about getting involved in a romantic relationship. Jade is hesitant to let her guard down after her past experiences with love, while Ford worries about getting hurt again after a failed relationship.
Despite their reservations, Jade and Ford can't deny the strong connection between them. As they navigate their feelings and fears, they realize that sometimes taking a chance on love is worth the risk.
