Afwaah follows the story of Naina, a young woman who is engaged to a powerful and abusive politician named Vikram. Naina desperately wants to break off the engagement but fears Vikram's wrath. Meanwhile, a young man named Aryan arrives in town and begins to work as a mechanic. When Naina's car breaks down near Aryan's workshop, he offers to fix it for free.
As Naina and Aryan begin to spend time together, they develop feelings for each other. However, their relationship is met with harsh criticism and bigotry from the town's conservative residents. Naina's family is also against their relationship since Aryan belongs to a different caste.
Things take a dark turn when Vikram learns about Naina and Aryan's relationship and vows to destroy both of them. He uses his political power to turn the town against the couple and even resorts to violent tactics to break them apart.
Naina and Aryan must fight for their love against all odds, even as they face hate speech, physical violence, and threats of arrest. As the situation becomes more dangerous, they must make tough choices and sacrifices to stay together and live a life free of oppression.
